1. General Information

We, Schneesportschule Omeshorn/Alpincenter Lech GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Alpincenter," "we," or "us"), recognize the importance of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data"). In accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR") and national data protection regulations, we hereby inform you about the extent to which we process the data collected or received about you, as well as your rights under data protection law. As the security and protection of your data are particularly important to us, we always adhere to applicable data protection regulations when processing your data.

3.1 Fulfillment of Contractual Obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
We process your data to fulfill the services owed under the contractual relationship with you. If you enter into a contractual relationship with us, you provide us with personal data about yourself and possibly third parties (e.g., family members, friends, employees).   • Booking information such as skill level, accommodation, and stay period

We generally assume that you are authorized to disclose this data. We process your data and any data of third parties you provide as necessary to establish and fulfill the contract. The purposes of processing primarily depend on specific contractual obligations and include:

  • Processing the booking of a ski instructor | ski guide | mountain guide, including payment management

  • Making helicopter flight reservations with the company Wucher

3.2 Fulfillment of Legal Obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
Legal obligations applicable to Alpincenter require the processing of your data for the following purposes:

  • Performing proper accounting tasks

  • Archiving tax- and corporate-law-relevant records to meet statutory tax and fee obligations

  • Complying with tax and corporate retention obligations

3.3 Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
If you have given us separate consent for data processing, processing will occur solely for the purposes specified in the consent and within the agreed scope. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (e.g., you can withdraw your consent for receiving our newsletter if you no longer wish to receive it). We process your data based on your consent for the following purposes:

  • Sending newsletters: You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website by providing your email address and consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting info@alpincenter-lech.at.

3.4 Protection of Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
We process your data to protect the legitimate interests of Alpincenter or third parties for the following purposes:

  • Information shared on social media channels or review platforms regarding comments, posts, and reviews about us may be published on our homepage.

4. Recipients of Your Data

Your personal data will be shared with the respective ski instructor | ski guide | mountain guide to process your booking. The extent of the shared data is limited to what is necessary. Data transfer is carried out using standard technological methods such as email or messenger.

Due to the complexity of modern data processing, we may use service providers to process your data. If you want more detailed information about how and to what extent your data is processed in specific cases or shared with service providers, and the protective measures we take, please contact us using the details provided above.

5. Data Retention

We collect and store your data via our website when you submit a booking inquiry, via email, or by phone. The collected data is stored in our server database, address database, digital calendar, internal computers, and mobile devices. Data received from our service partners for booking purposes is treated in the same way as data directly provided by you.

Additionally, we process your data to comply with legal retention and documentation obligations (e.g., Austrian Commercial Code (UGB), Federal Fiscal Code (BAO)). The statutory retention period is ten years, beginning at the end of the calendar year. Data will generally be deleted after fulfilling contractual obligations, withdrawing consent, or objecting to processing unless retention is necessary for legal compliance or the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Instead of deletion, data may be anonymized, removing any personal reference irreversibly. In such cases, deletion obligations no longer apply as there is no reference to your person.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

You have the right to request information regarding the source, categories, retention period, and recipients of your data, as well as the purpose and nature of processing. Note that under Section 4(6) DSG 2018, no information will be provided if it risks exposing trade secrets of us or third parties.

If your data is incorrect or incomplete, you can request correction or completion. If your data has been unlawfully processed, you may request deletion. For cases where the legality or accuracy is unclear, you can request restricted processing until resolved.

If your data is accurate, complete, and lawfully processed, you still have the right to object under Article 21 GDPR, particularly in cases of legitimate interest.

Additionally, you may receive your data in a machine-readable format or request direct transmission to a third party where technically feasible.

If processing is based on consent, it can be revoked anytime. Please note, data processing before revocation remains lawful.
